In honor of Henry Anderson....

One of Sweet 'n Sassy's former DT members, Sarah Anderson, lost her 3-year-old son recently very unexpectedly. Although the Anderson family is in our thoughts and prayers continually, we wanted to do something to help, so we are releasing this new set in Henry's honor.

The set features 6 different tree silhouettes as well as sentiments and scripture. It will sell for $18.75 with $5.00 going to the Anderson Family.

To read Henry's story visit the Anderson family blog: The Bee's Knees

May God comfort them with the peace that passes all understanding.

Here's a sneak peek of one of the images in the set....

Sweet Stop Saturday

Just a quick post since I am currently out of town enjoying my weekend with hubby. (Gotta love pre-scheduled posting.)

Joins us for another fun sketch at The Sweet Stop!!

Here's my sample using Leah's O Christmas Tree digi set. I think this paper is by Kaiser Craft. I bought a ton of Christmas paper by the sheet on a recent shopping excursion to The Flower & Craft Warehouse in Lancaster County PA, so I can't recall for sure, but it sure is lovely :). I added some beautiful trimming I also found at F&CW. LOVE that place :).

Happy stamping!

On the road again....

I'm getting ready to head out for a special anniversary weekend with my dear sweet hubby :). We're celebrating our 12th anniversary on Sunday so I booked a B&B for two nights and bought tickets to tomorrow night's Penguins game in Pittsburgh. WOOHOO!!

Before we go, I thought I'd share the card I made for hubby using one of our new sets for December called Trees of the Field.

I used this week's sketch for SCS with Autumn Splendor paper by Making Memories. I got 2 packs of this paper at Michaels this week for $1.99 each!!! I couldn't resist that bargain :).

Have a wonderful weekend!! I know I will :)!

Gobble, Gobble....

I am SOOO excited that Thanksgiving is fast approaching. It is my favorite holiday....all the delicious food and spending time with loved ones as we praise our Heavenly Father for the bountiful blessings he has bestowed upon us...it doesn't get any better than that....in fact....it's a picture of heaven :)!

Thanksgiving dinner also happens to be one of my favorite meals....turkey smothered in gravy with Grandma's PA Dutch potato filling on the side(also smothered in gravy), as well as oodles of veggies, cranberry sauce, my yummy sweet potato souffle and Grandma's fresh pumpkin pie for dessert...pure bliss....is your mouth watering yet????

Even though this little guy is super cute, I think I'd still eat him, LOL!! He was the main image in our Turkey Day stamp set, but this set recently sold out and since we've had it for two Autumn seasons, I won't be reordering it....HOWEVER, I have decided to add this little cutie to our digi line just in case you need a fun Thanksgiving image at the last minute ;). You can get him TODAY! His name is Templeton Turkey :).

And while we are on the topic of Thanksgiving, I thought I'd share some of the things I am thankful for....

Most importantly, I am thankful for my salvation in Jesus Christ! I could never have done anything to deserve it. God chose to save me through the shed blood of His only Son. All I had to do was accept the gift! I am also thankful for a godly hubby who loves the Lord! I could go on and on...but I'd love to hear from you so what are YOU thankful for? How has God blessed you? I would LOVE to hear from you!

Hugs,
Korin

Stamping Around Philly Pics :)

I had the best time at Stamping Around Philly this past weekend. I honestly didn't want it to end. The classes were so much fun and the company even better :). I feel so honored to have met such amazing ladies.

The fantastic instructors were: Julie, Becky, Charmaine, and Kathi & Tammy. I taught a quick BONUS class Friday night. We made this super fun and easy card using the Holiday Greetings stamp set.

Here are some pics of our super stampy adventure....

I also got to meet Belinda, one of my SNSS DT members. She is a sweetheart and lots of fun :).

The very shabby SNSS table.

We had over 40 ladies attend. The facilities were AMAZING. Here you can see the whole group having some stamp happy fun :) during Becky's class.

I am hoping to post pics of all the class projects within the next couple of days. They were ALL wonderful. It's been such a long time since I have been a STUDENT in a class, so it was a special treat for me.

Thanks to Kim & Julie for organizing this awesome event and to all the sponsor companies and instructors for making this event a huge success! I can't wait to attend another one :).

Until next time,
Korin

Coming up for air....

Hello all!

I have a lot going on this week between processing TONS of sale orders from our discontinued stamps (70% off in case you didn't know!), drawing and preparing for our digi releases this month (you are going to LOVE them!!!!), planning our 2nd birthday party (which will be held in our PCP group on Monday, November 9th) AND getting ready for Stamping Around PA THIS weekend!!!!

I am really excited about Stamping Around PA because I will be meeting some of the stamping superstars I have admired for a long time like Kim Schofield, Julie Masse, Tammy Hershberger, just to name a few :). I will be teaching a bonus class Friday night. Plus I will be setting up to sell stamps, so I have a lot of prepping to do :).

Before I bury myself in piles and piles of stamps again, I wanted to share a couple cards I made recently that I never got around to posting....

This card was made for the PCP sketch challenge from Saturday as well as the Monday Sweet Treat Challenge #3 (held in our PCP group)....

I used Luke from the new Sunbeams line. The sentiment is from Birthday Buddies and the paper is something I picked up on my shopping excursion with Kathy last week. We had SOOOO much fun :).

This one was made for the Friday Sketchers sketch # 76 from last week....

I used the lovely Christmas Candle digi by Leah Cornelius with MORE of the goodies I bought with Kathy.

And this one was made for last week's Mojo Monday sketch #110....

This card uses another of Leah's pretty digis, Pinecones & Holly. I used the same paper as the card above as well as MORE goodies from my shopping trip :). It was a profitable trip (for me and the places I spent my $$$, hehe).

Thanks for stopping by!

May your day be full of blessings!

Sweet Stop Cocoa

Today's card was made for our newest Sweet Stop sketch, the last one for October. I cannot believe it's already the last day of October! This month has FLOWN by! We've got a brand new guest designer for November. She is sweet as can be with talent to boot. Stop on by to learn more about her and see the Sugar Babies' lovely creations.

We would love to see what you do with our sketches, so come and join the fun!

I used Sweet Cocoa again because he is just TOO SWEET :). I didn't really have room for a sentiment on the front so I put it in the inside. It says, "Sending you warm hugs and cocoa wishes."

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Saturday!

Sweet Cocoa

This little cutie is being released on Digi Day (tomorrow) at SNSS along with the Hot Cocoa Sentiments. He is so much fun to color and the cup is wonderful for paper piecing.

I made this card for today's SCS sketch. I haven't played with a SCS challenge in a while...come to think of it....I haven't STAMPED in a while! I have been so busy preparing for this weekend's release and our birthday celebration. So much to do, so little time! This also qualifies for the Cute Card Thursday challenge this week to use a drink theme :).

Anyway, I paper pieced the cup instead of coloring it for this particular card. The cup actually has snowflakes on it but when I saw this paper by My Mind's Eye, I just knew I had to paper piece it :). Since it's a digi and it already had a pattern that I did not want on the paper, I cut out a printed cup then traced it on the back of the DP, then cut it out ad adhered it to another printed image.

Check out our new DIGI Blog for another sweet sneak peek of these new digis.

Thanks for stopping by!
